Tucker Carlson ignited a firestorm on the left when he exposed the unfiltered truth about why mobs have taken over in America’s streets.

The Fox News host came under immediate attack when he opened “Tucker Carlson Tonight” on Wednesday with an unvarnished look at the violence in Kenosha following the police shooting of Jacob Blake. Somehow Carlson’s take on the “inevitable and bloody conclusion” of chaos that is not reined in by authorities was slammed by the left who declared he was trying to “incite mayhem and murder.

Carlson reported on the latest events from the Wisconsin city besieged by rioting since Sunday which turned deadly as three people were shot, with two of the victims dying as a result.

But the Fox News host’s argument that the escalating violence and subsequent deaths could have been prevented if authorities had stepped in unleashed the cancel mob who then converged on Carlson, outrageously accusing him of defending the actions of 17-year-old Kyle Rittenhouse who was arrested and charged with first-degree intentional homicide.

“So what does that amount to? We’re unsure, a court will decide whether what you just saw qualifies as self-defense. We don’t have more details. We do know why it all happened, though. Kenosha has devolved into anarchy because the authorities in charge of the city abandoned it,” Carlson said.

“People in charge from the governor of Wisconsin on down refused to enforce the law. They stood back and watched Kenosha burn. So are we really surprised this looting and arson accelerated to murder? How shocked are we that 17-year-olds with rifles decided they had to maintain order when no one else would?” he added, in the line that seemed to trigger liberals into a meltdown.

“Everyone can see what was happening in Kenosha. It was getting crazier by the hour… ‘Kill the police, death to America.’ That’s not Iran, it’s Wisconsin. It could have been a dozen other places in the country. The violence has been building unabated for three months now. Every day the mob becomes more radical,” Carlson continued.

Completely ignoring the point Carlson was making, the outraged left continued to condemn him for allegedly advocating something he did not. The Fox News host concluded his monologue with a scathing exposure of the left’s real agenda.

“Our leaders want us to believe this is all a racial conflict, they’re always telling us it is. But they’re lying. It is not a racial conflict. At its deepest level the chaos they have unleashed has very little to do with race. Most Americans are not bigots. Unlike CNN, they’re not fixated on skin color, they don’t really care, most of them,” he said.

“What you watch is more sinister than that. What you are watching is an effort by the academic, left funded by big business, to crush the last remaining resistance to their control of the country and that resistance is an independent American middle class. That’s who they really hate,” Carlson concluded. “This is not a race war. This is a class war.”

Cue the outrage.

An inevitable call to boycott the show’s advertisers – again – was next as well as the hashtag #FireTuckerCarlson.

But those who didn’t allow the left to spew the twisted narrative, countered with another hashtag and slammed the critics for creating the smokescreen to distract from the truth bombs Carlson dropped.

Democrats came under immediate fire after claiming President Donald Trump is “glorifying white supremacy” with a planned Fourth of July event at Mount Rushmore.

The official Twitter account of the Democratic National Committee learned the hard way that the internet is forever after tweeting, then deleting, a post condemning Trump’s plan to hold a fireworks celebration at the national landmark in South Dakota.

“Trump has disrespected Native communities time and again,” The Democrats, the DNC’s official Twitter account, tweeted on Monday, linking to an article published by The Guardian last week which claimed the event was being criticized by the Native American community.

“He’s attempted to limit their voting rights and blocked critical pandemic relief. Now he’s holding a rally glorifying white supremacy at Mount Rushmore- a region once sacred to tribal communities,” the tweet continued.

Apparently realizing how bad the comments were, the account soon deleted the tweet. But Twitter was soon flooded with screenshots of the offending remarks as well as heated backlash against the Democrats for targeting the iconic landmark honoring former Presidents George Washington, Thomas Jefferson, Theodore Roosevelt and Abraham Lincoln.

Fireworks have been prohibited over the landmark for a decade over fears of wildfires in the area. And with current concerns over the coronavirus, critics of the president slammed the planned event for promoting large gatherings of people.

But Native American activists are planning protests for Trump’s event and some are actively calling for the removal of the stone monument that has stood for nearly eight decades.

“Mount Rushmore is a symbol of white supremacy, of structural racism that’s still alive and well in society today,” Nick Tilsen, a member of the Oglala Lakota tribe and the president of a local activist organization, said, according to Associated Press. “It’s an injustice to actively steal Indigenous people’s land, then carve the white faces of the colonizers who committed genocide.”

But it was the tweet from the DNC that ignited a firestorm of backlash amid the backdrop of weeks of civil unrest in the nation and, most recently, many frenzied attacks on historic statues and monuments by leftist mobs. Fox News meteorologist Janice Dean seemed to already be on to something last week when she wondered if Mt. Rushmore would be next.

“Would be curious to hear @TheDemocrats explain what part of shooting off fireworks at Mt. Rushmore for the 4th of July “glorifies white supremacy”. The fireworks? Mt. Rushmore itself? The 4th of July?” Republican pollster Logan Dobson asked in a tweet.

Radio host Jason Rantz tweeted: “The Democrats think Mt Rushmore is a display of white supremacy. There’s no saving this country if Biden gets elected.”

Other Twitter users roundly condemned the Democrats.

“All the Republicans have to do is run on a ‘Hey, at least we’re not the Democrats’ platform,” author and “The Rubin Report” host Dave Rubin tweeted.

Matt Whitlock, the National Republican Senatorial Committee senior adviser, added that “Democrats have lost it.”

Law enforcement officers in California have just been limited in their use of lethal force to only when deemed “necessary.”

Gov. Gavin Newsom signed legislation on Monday that changed the state’s long-standing use-of-force statute, limiting when police are allowed to use deadly force and holding them liable if that was brought on by an officer’s own actions.

The Democratic governor declared that the new law would “change culture” as he spoke Monday flanked by family members of people who have been killed by police, including Stevante Clark, the brother of Stephon Clark, an unarmed black man who was fatally shot by two Sacramento police officers last year.

“It’s one thing to sign a piece of paper, pass legislation,” Newsom said. “It’s another to change hearts and minds, to change culture. To change the way people conduct themselves, to hold themselves to a higher standard … That’s the work that we, collectively as a community, need to manifest at peril of missing this moment and missing the point of this moment.”

Democratic Assemblywoman Shirley Weber, who co-wrote AB 392 – otherwise known as the California Act to Save Lives, had introduced the bill in the state Senate and stood on the platform alongside Newsom and the families.

“We were told by so many that it could not happen and we had felt that we were at the brink of failure at one point in this whole process,” the San Diego Democrat said. “I felt the weight of the families. It’s been a difficult journey because they entrusted me with trying to make change. My greatest fear is that if we had failed, those who want to make change will never work to do it again.”

California’s use-of-force policy had been in effect since 1872 before the new law was signed Monday, and it had allowed police officers to use deadly force if it was “reasonable.” The new law now requires law enforcement to only use deadly force if and when it becomes “necessary” in order to protect against death or a serious injury.

State legislators and law enforcement officials previously wrangled over the measure’s definition of “necessary” which allowed officers to use deadly force only when there is “no reasonable alternative.” The change of “reasonable” to “necessary” made a way for groups like the California Highway Patrol, Peace Officers Research Association of California, and California State Sheriffs’ Association to not be officially opposed but only neutral to the bill, KSWB reported.

“We are doing something today that stretches the boundary of possibility and sends a message to people all across this country that they can do more and they can do better to meet this moment,” Newsom said at the signing of the legislation which goes into effect in 2020.

But some disagreed on what, if any, effect the new law would have on police policies which are already in use.

According to Time:

Several police agencies said the new law simply codifies policies already used in major California cities that emphasize de-escalation. Others said the law may have a significant effect if is coupled with a pending Senate bill requiring that officers be trained in ways to de-escalate confrontations, alternatives to opening fire and how to interact with people with mental illness or other issues.

“It’s a false sense of security to those that think this is going to shift the needle,” Plumas County Sheriff’s Deputy Ed Obayashi said.

Twitter users slammed Newsom and California lawmakers for effectively risking the lives of the state’s law enforcement officers.

California Democrats continue to prove that they are more interested in showing up President Trump than stepping up for their own residents.

After months of negotiations, Gov. Gavin Newsom and Democrats in the state legislature delivered a bill Sunday as part of the state’s budget that would run counter to the Trump administration’s immigration efforts by making California the first and only state in the nation to pay for the health care of thousands of illegal immigrants.

California’s Medicaid program, known as Medi-Cal, would become available to any low-income California resident between the ages of 19 and 25 beginning in January 2020 under the proposed bill, the Sacramento Bee reported. The plan states it would “extend eligibility for full-scope Medi-Cal benefits to individuals of all ages, if otherwise eligible for those benefits, but for their immigration status, and would delete provisions delaying eligibility and enrollment.”

Costing about $98 million per year, the bill which was part of an overall $213 billion budget, will use the “extraordinary” state budget surplus to now cover the health care of thousands living in the state illegally, though it will not include undocumented seniors.

“While it’s not all we sought, it will provide a real tangible difference for people, especially for those around and below poverty and for middle income families who don’t get any help under the federal law,” Anthony Wright, executive director of advocacy group Health Access, said.

According to the Sacramento Bee:

The budget includes a fine on people who don’t buy health insurance known as an individual mandate. The fines were initially implemented as part of the federal Affordable Care Act law known as Obamacare, but Republicans acted in 2017 to roll them back. Newsom and legislative leaders say re-imposing the penalty at the state level will shore up the state’s health insurance marketplace and keep premiums from rising dramatically.

Revenue from the mandate will fund insurance premium subsidies for middle income people. The budget agreement also includes an additional $450 million over three years to fund insurance subsidies after some lawmakers argued mandate revenue alone wouldn’t make health insurance affordable.

Sen. Holly Mitchell, who leads the joint legislative budget committee, praised lawmakers’ efforts of “responsible budgeting” while touting California’s “largest reserves in history.”

“California believes that health is a fundamental right,” the Democrat said.

But some were critical that the Democrats’ plan, which will become available to about 90,000 people, did not do enough for California’s illegal immigrants.

“For California’s immigrant communities, today’s budget deal is bittersweet,” Cynthia Buiza, executive director of the California Immigrant Policy Center, said in a statement. “The exclusion of undocumented elders from the same health care their U.S. citizen neighbors are eligible for means beloved community members will suffer and die from treatable conditions. And the exclusion of many immigrants from the Earned Income Tax Credit will perpetuate the crisis of economic inequality in our state.”

Democratic state Sen. Maria Elena Durazo, who co-authored the bill, argued that all low-income people should have access to the services.

“They work in our hotels, they work picking the fruit and vegetables, they work as landscapers, they work in hospitals,” Durazo told The Wall Street Journal in an interview. “I don’t think they should be treated differently from other Californians.”

According to the Public Policy Institute of California, about half of the state’s illegal immigrants are estimate to have incomes that are low enough qualify them for Medi-Cal coverage.

Meanwhile, the California liberals advocate using the “surplus” funds, taxing legal residents to fund the coverage of illegal immigrants, while ignoring the conditions and challenges facing residents on some of the state’s largest cities.

“One glance at the formerly Golden State is a frightening embarrassment. The latest indictment of liberal leadership is the trash heap of Los Angeles,” Radio host and Fox News contributor Tammy Bruce wrote in an op-ed published by The Washington Times last month. “The state actually has a budget surplus, but as we see, money can’t cure stupid.”

Bruce slammed the state and its Democratic leadership for consistently ignoring the rampant homelessness and growing sanitation problems in cities like Los Angeles. Celebrity doctor Drew Pinsky warned of a deadly epidemic that could strike the city this summer, placing the blame on local politicians.

The growth of the homeless population and untended trash threaten Los Angeles as public health conditions worsen, with Pinsky adding that it is “likely” that the bubonic plague, the 14th-century pandemic that killed millions, already exists in the city.

“This is unbelievable. I can’t believe I live in a city where this is not Third World. This is medieval,” he told Fox News’ Laura Ingraham. “Third World countries are insulted if they are accused of being like this. No city on Earth tolerates this. The entire population is at risk.”

Los Angeles launched a half-million dollar pilot program last year to deal with its rampant homeless population, paying homeowners to build shelters in their backyard which could then be occupied by the homeless. A cleanup of one of California’s homeless camps last year along the Santa Ana River in Anaheim uncovered 404 tons of trash, over 13,000 hypodermic needles and more than 5,000 pounds of hazardous human waste.

Newsom was reportedly shocked buy the homeless levels in the state and announced he would launch a task force using $1 billion of taxpayer funds to “find solutions,” something Donald Trump Jr. slammed in a tweet recommending Californians reject the so-called leadership of Democrats.

“And yet most 2020 Democratic candidates for president want you to believe that President Donald Trump is the problem, and the Democratic policies creating the dystopian nightmare in California should be exported throughout the nation,” Bruce wrote in her op-ed. “Yeah, no.”

The latest budget agreement, which would wipe out existing citizenship requirements to receive benefits, must be approved by the full state Legislature where Democrats enjoy a super majority.
