Facebook has reportedly reduced the distribution of another major conservative figure’s page. Today’s victim: bestselling conservative author and radio host Mark Levin, host of Life, Liberty & Levin on the Fox News Channel.

“Facebook has just sent us this message,” said Levin in a post on Twitter, which displayed a message from Facebook informing him that posts from his page will now face “reduced distribution” on the platform after a “third party fact checker” alleged Levin’s page was spreading “false news.”

“It’s a clear effort at censorship,” said Levin. “Every link I post is from a legitimate source.”

“Because so many people are seeing what I’m posting and we’re within weeks of the election it’s clear that Facebook is trying to influence the election’s outcome. It’s also clear Facebook is pushing a leftwing agenda. I’ll address this tonight on radio.”

This comes a little over a week after Facebook placed the same restriction on the page of Tucker Carlson, host of Tucker Carlson Tonight on Fox News.

As Breitbart News reported on September 25:

Facebook has restricted the page of Tucker Carlson, the most popular cable news host in the country, smearing the Fox News host as sharing “false news.”

Carlson posted a picture of a message his page received from Facebook, informing the owners that the page now has “reduced distribution and other restrictions because of repeated sharing of false news. People will also be able to see if a Page has a history of sharing false news.”

Facebook did not specify in its message what the alleged “false news” consisted of, or whether the restrictions would be lifted before the election.

“Today’s censorship by Facebook” said Carlson, in response. “It’s no coincidence that the election is just weeks away.

Facebook is officially designating the actions of Kyle Rittenhouse, the 17-year-old who allegedly killed two people and wounded another in Kenosha, Wisconsin, after being mobbed and attacked by rioters, a “mass murder,” despite the fact that this has not been proven in court. Facebook confirmed that it would remove any posts that support Rittenhouse.

Conservative author and YouTube personality Mark Dice reported that his Facebook page had received a threat of suspension after he posted a video of Rittenhouse offering to give medical assistance to wounded protesters in Kenosha shortly before the shooting.

“Facebook just removed a video I posted showing Kyle Rittenhouse offering help to a wounded protester in Kenosha,” said Dice, who also posted the video on Twitter.

Facebook, he said, is now “threatening to delete my entire account.”

In a comment to Breitbart News, a Facebook spokesman confirmed that the company is removing posts “in support” of Rittenhouse, because the incident is considered a “mass murder” by the company.

“We’ve designated the shooting in Kenosha a mass murder and are removing posts in support of the shooter, including this one,” said the spokesman.

Dice’s post on Facebook did not praise Rittenhouse, but merely described the video.

“Newly uncovered video of Kyle Rittenhouse shows him helping an injured protester after she was struck in the foot with a projectile,” said Dice’s post. “In another video he told the cameraman that he brought a medical kit, which is the bag he was carrying. Further proving he had no malicious intent by showing up. In fact, he was there to help anyone who needed it.”

In a comment to Breitbart News, Dice said he was being deliberately careful about what he posted, because he guessed that Facebook had added Rittenhouse to its infamous “dangerous individuals” list.

“[The posts] were all very matter of fact about what happened. No praise, nor celebration, nothing like that because I figured that they added Kyle to the “dangerous individual” [list],” said Dice. “I was very careful about what I posted.”

The official Twitter account of Breitbart News remains locked and unable to post, because it was used to post a video of a press conference featuring Rep. Ralph Norman (R-SC) and frontline doctors sharing their views and opinions on coronavirus and the medical response to the pandemic. The platform has yet to respond to Breitbart’s appeal after nearly 48 hours.

Twitter is punishing a news organization for live-streaming a press conference held by a congressman and licensed medical doctors.

Breitbart News lodged an appeal with Twitter on Tuesday afternoon. Nearly 48 hours later, Twitter has yet to respond or restore Breitbart’s ability to post. Twitter has not replied to a Breitbart News request for comment on how long such a review is expected to take.

Twitter took down the video and locked Breitbart’s account shortly after similar censorship by YouTube and Facebook.

On the latter platform, Breitbart’s video accumulated over 17 million views and was the top-performing post on the social network globally. On YouTube, the video accumulated over 80,000 views before being taken down by the Google-owned platform.

The video showed a press conference held by the organization America’s Frontline Doctors, organized and sponsored by the Tea Party Patriots. Since the video of the conference went viral, it appears that America’s Frontline Doctors have had their website taken offline.

After Twitter’s initial decision to suspend Breitbart’s posting abilities, a Twitter spokeserson said, “Tweets with the video are in violation of our COVID-19 misinformation policy. We are taking action in line with our policy here.”

Twitter also suspended the account of the president’s son Donald Trump Jr. for posting the same video. PragerU and other prominent conservative accounts on Twitter have recently been suspended for either posting links to the video or commenting on HCQ.

Facebook has removed a video posted by Breitbart News earlier today, which was the top-performing Facebook post in the world Monday afternoon, of a press conference in D.C. held by the group America’s Frontline Doctors and organized and sponsored by the Tea Party Patriots. The press conference featured Rep. Ralph Norman (R-SC) and frontline doctors sharing their views and opinions on coronavirus and the medical response to the pandemic. YouTube (which is owned by Google) and Twitter subsequently removed footage of the press conference as well.

The video accumulated over 17 million views during the eight hours it was hosted on Facebook, with over 185,000 concurrent viewers.

The livestream had accumulated over 17 million views by the time of its censorship by Facebook.

In terms of viral velocity, the post was beating content from many other prominent accounts on Facebook today, including Hillary Clinton, Rev. Franklin Graham, and Kim Kardashian.

Over 185,000 viewers were concurrently watching the stream when it aired live Monday afternoon.

The event, hosted by the organization America’s Frontline Doctors, a group founded by Dr. Simone Gold, a board-certified physician and attorney, and made up of medical doctors, came together to address what the group calls a “massive disinformation campaign” about the coronavirus. Norman also spoke at the event.

“If Americans continue to let so-called experts and media personalities make their decisions, the great American experiment of a Constitutional Republic with Representative Democracy, will cease,” reads the event’s information page.

The event was organized and sponsored by the Tea Party Patriots.

“We’ve removed this video for sharing false information about cures and treatments for COVID-19,” a Facebook company spokesman, Andy Stone, told Breitbart News. The company did not specify what portion of the video it ruled to be “false information,” who it consulted to make that ruling, and on what basis it was made.

Stone replied to New York Times tech columnist Kevin Roose on Twitter regarding the video:

Stone then added that the platform would direct users who had interacted with the post to information on “myths debunked by the WHO.”

Facebook’s decision to censor the livestream was quickly followed by YouTube, the Google-owned video-sharing platform. The video had over 80,000 views on YouTube prior to its removal.

Following Facebook and YouTube’s removal of the video, Twitter followed suit, removing Breitbart News’s Periscope livestream of the press conference. Jack Dorsey’s platform also then limited the Breitbart News official account, indicating that tweets containing links to multiple stories about the press conference violate the platform’s COVID-19 policies.
