Well, just when you thought BLM could not get any more insane, they have managed to do exactly that. That said, it is hard to imagine how much more insane they could become.

For instance, as a result of BLM, concepts such as slavery reparations, police abolition, leftist school curriculums, and constant violence have apparently become the norm, not to mention the standard party line of the Democrats.

However, based upon the latest suggestion from another “activist,” it appears that BLM has inspired even more outrageous suggestions for dealing with crime in America’s future. Or, more accurately not dealing with crime.

Just ask Tyree Moorehead, who apparently thinks gang members cannot be stopped.

“I’ve talked to these people. I’ve seen the shooters. It’s a small city, I know who the hustlers are … I can’t stop the shootings, no one in this world has proven to stop the shootings not even the church. But what we can do is put them in compliance …

I can relate to the shooters, guess what they want? They want money.”

“No one in the world has proven to stop the shootings?” How about good old law enforcement? Oh, that’s right, BLM and its likeminded followers or supporters are all anti-police.

Never mind the fact that the police, along with the criminal justice system in general, has the tools to “put them in compliance.” After all, why bother having a justice system otherwise?

However, Mr. Cameron apparently thinks that since gang members “want money” (who doesn’t?!), they should apparently be paid to NOT kill someone.

That is not a joke. Mr. Cameron literally believes that people should be paid for not killing someone else. Exactly where is the incentive to pursue an honest living with that type of mindset?!

Needless to say, Mr. Cameron’s suggestion did not sit well with individuals who have lost loved ones due to gang violence, including Lorrain Taylor, who expressed disgust with the asinine pay to not play scheme.

“If I were to find out that the guy who murdered my twin sons was getting a thousand dollars for a promise? I mean, how can you trust? … I mean, if they kill somebody, they will lie.” [Source: The Blaze]

Exactly. If anything, gang members will “double dip” and get paid for assassinations, then lie about the assassinations, earning money for lying. Kind of like ultra-leftist teachers that double-dip in the public schooling system.

In addition, T.J. Smith, a Baltimore PD spokesperson, also detailed how paying gang members will just further incentivize violence, ironically including the ability to purchase more firearms.

“It could make it easier for people to get their hands on guns because they now have an influx of a different level of cash.” [Source: The Blaze]

Sadly, the West Coast is also continuing along its anti-police route, going from defunding the police to apparently attempting to abolish the police entirely. Just ask Joseph Williams, the director of the advocacy group “Students Deserve” in Los Angeles.

“We don’t need police and handcuffs. I speak from personal experience as somebody who was criminalized at 13 years old and spent time in a juvenile detention center and was charged with assault and battery for getting in a fight with another kid.” [Source: The Blaze]

So, what does Los Angeles do? The city hires “climate coaches” instead, which apparently contributes to “racial equity.” (If you’re lost, you’re not the only one).

As noted by a spokesperson for the Los Angeles Unified School Board, Kelly Gonez, these “climate coaches” apparently can serve as a substitute for the police.

“Student safety is everyone’s responsibility and starts with creating a school environment that is centered in students’ social-emotional wellbeing … The Board’s investment in the Black Student Achievement Plan ensures we are actively working to promote equity across the District.” [Source: The Blaze]

Great, Gonez. How about promoting sanity, while you’re at it?

Waiting …
