Looks like Biden really is pulling out an 11th hour Hail Mary now. In the form of his ever trusty associate, Barack Obama. Slight sarcasm on the word “trusty.”
According to ABC News, one of Obama’s “aides” apparently announced that Obama would be hitting the campaign trail for Biden shortly, clearly in an effort to stave off what will likely be an inevitable defeat of Biden.
“President Obama plans to hit the trail soon, in addition to all the other activities he’s undertaken all year in support of electing VP Biden,” the aide said. “As he’s said, we all have to do everything we can to win on November 3.”
And, in typical Bloomberg fashion, Obama is rather blatantly targeting key battleground states, notably Florida, North Carolina, and Wisconsin.
Apparently Obama forget about the last time he campaigned rather aggressively in Florida for arch-socialist Andrew Gillum during the 2018 midterms. That endorsement didn’t end very well, as Ron DeSantis thankfully achieved victory, not to mention sanity for Floridians later on during the 2020 pandemic.
Had Gillum been governor, Florida would probably be as locked down as Hawaii, which has effectively (and unconstitutionally) blocked interstate traffic to the state. That said, Obama should recall that his endorsement does not exactly guarantee a win for his endorsed candidate. On the contrary, his endorsement seems to have the opposite effect, as Stacy Abrams, another Obama favorite, suffered a resounding defeat in Georgia.
Then again, liberals don’t exactly have a habit of learning from past mistakes. Especially since 2020 seems to be a repeat of 2016 all over again. Only with stronger support for Trump, and even more insane tactics (failed impeachment, anyone?) thrown in.
Obama has also been hitting his social media accounts hard, using the same tedious lines that he’s used repeatedly over the past several years. In a Twitter video posted recently, the tired looking Obama blandly repeats,
“There’s a lot at stake in this election. From getting this pandemic under control to building a fairer economy to taking on climate change and protecting our health care, your vote can make all the difference. Register today and make a plan to vote early: http://iwillvote.com/obama.” [Source: Breitbart]
“/obama”? Is that really necessary? Apparently, in the land of egomaniac Obamas, it is.
Guess Michelle’s hysterical pleas regarding Trump’s “racism” and “division” weren’t quite cutting the mustard, when the “division” and “racism” is the most openly displayed in liberal-run cesspools. Between her and her husband, what a train wreck the two of them are.
When Obama promised “change,” he meant it. After all, he changed the United States several decades backward into extreme racial division and disparity. He certainly changed attitude against law enforcement officers by baldly proclaiming his fictitious son would look like Trayvon Martin. Oh, and he certainly changed the stature of America in global affairs by meandering around the world on his sniveling apology tour.
Even once Obama left office, he apparently just couldn’t quit D.C., like other sane presidents who left D.C. shortly after finishing up their second terms. Bush retired to the quiet of Texas, whereas Clinton (Bill) retired to the enjoyment of chasing endless skirts (his wife, Hillary, on the other hand …)
Obama and his wife Michelle? Apparently addicted to celebrity and unable to let go of their rather enlarged legends of themselves in their own minds, the two of them just can’t quit interfering in politics, with one of the most blatant examples of, as Biden likes to put it, “chicanery” currently taking place in American politics.
What’s the most hilarious of all is that Obama himself did not exactly lead others in terms of a glowing endorsement of Biden; instead, his own endorsement effectively came in at the 11th hour, once it was clear that Biden was the undisputed candidate for the Democratic presidential election (much to the rage of the Bernie Bros).
It was almost as though Obama had reservations about Biden running (you know, the same way he did in 2016 when he effectively told Biden to stand down for Queen Hillary to take over).
Now, with under four weeks away from the election, Obama has apparently decided it’s a great time to rev up the campaign effort for Biden, further underscoring just how weakened Biden’s real position is relative to others.
