In a refreshing contrast to Pelosi’s increasingly erratic behavior, Amy Coney Barrett exuded nothing but class, confidence, and extraordinary intelligence (the latter trait is perhaps what irks the left more than anything).
While many in the fake news media were salivating at the thought of Barrett enduring relentless questions that would leave her tongue-tied, confused, or otherwise unlikable to the American public, they have been proven sorely wrong. On the contrary, Barrett’s competence is undoubtedly contributing to Trump’s rising popularity across various polls, not only in key battleground states, but also in terms of presidential approval ratings.
Barrett soared throughout the entire Senate hearing process, and the greatest moment of all occurred when Republican Senator John Cornyn of Texas asked Barrett how she was taking notes, given that most of the individuals present were using “multiple notebooks and notes and books and things like that.”
Barrett merely held up a blank notepad, informing Cornyn, and everyone else in the world, that the only words in front of her were the pre-printed words “United States Senate.”
In other words, Barrett answered all Senate inquiries off of memory alone, demonstrating unprecedented listening skills and memory abilities. Quite the contrast with the bumbling Democrats.
Cornyn himself was clearly blown away, telling her, “that’s impressive.”
Of course, Democrats being Democrats, Barrett did have to deal with her fair share of malarkey during the hearings. Hilariously, she blew Kamala Harris out of the water, who spent more time fumbling with her notes than actually asking questions.
Social media lit up shortly after the disastrous exchange, which illuminated the “former prosecutor” Harris as being absolutely zero match for the infinitely more qualified, cool and collected, Barrett.
For instance, Twitter user Jerry Dunleavy quipped,
“After taking questions for ~10 hours, ACB just easily dispatched with… whatever it was that Kamala Harris was trying to do there.” [Source: Town Hall]
Andy McCarthy also commented,
“How is this helping Kamala? Amy has no notes and is swatting the questions out of the park, Kamala – the great former prosecutor – can’t even get thru the questions without her binder.” [Source: Town Hall]
Other Democrat Senators, after threatening a public boycott, decided to show up to the hearing after all. Maybe they shouldn’t have, given how moronic they came across. Unsurprisingly, they also continued to help, rather than hurt, Barrett through their increasingly insipid lines of questions.
For instance, Senator Mazie Hirono, a Democrat from Hawaii, actually asked if Barrett had ever sexually assaulted someone.
“Since you became a legal adult, have you ever made unwanted requests for sexual favors, or committed any physical or verbal harassment or assault of a sexual nature? … Have you ever faced discipline or entered into a settlement related to this kind of conduct?” [Source: Fox News]
Wow. Imagine if this question had been asked of Kamala Harris.
Contrary to the Democrats’ nefarious wishes, President Trump clearly scored another home run with another people-driven, rather than politics-driven, decision. Even better, while Trump was winning, Pelosi was simultaneously losing, namely by making an idiot of the Democrat Party (again) on CNN.
When CNN anchor Wolf Blitzer asked why she refused to accept Trump’s latest coronavirus package offer, Pelosi went off on one of her typical rants, blaming Trump and then, hilariously, CNN for being a GOP “apologist.”
“I hope you’ll ask the same question of the Republicans on why they don’t want to meet the needs of the American people … But let me say to those people because all of my colleagues — we represent these people … and their needs are not addressed in the president’s proposal. So when you say to me, ‘Why don’t you accept theirs?’ Why don’t they accept ours?” [Source: Fox News]
Rational, reasonable answer, Pelosi. Impressive. Perhaps you should take notes from Barrett on the art of poise and decorum. After all, she calmly answered an absurd question regarding sexual assault while you went ballistic over a rather legitimate question regarding the coronavirus stimulus package (or lack thereof, thanks to Pelosi’s “leadership”).
Nancy: 0. Barrett: 1,000+
With just under three weeks left until the election, one can only hope for a few more wins before the biggest win of all: Trump in a 2020 landslide.
Assuming no extreme aiding and abetting of Democrat thievery, that is.
