Take that, Project 1619. Did all of these ultra-liberal “educators” and their complacent media lapdogs really think that one of the most patriotic presidents in recent history would take Project 1619 laying down?
President Trump, as always, quickly retaliated against attempts to undermine the United States, in particular its real history. After all, the principles that underly American history transformed the country into the most exceptional nation history has ever seen, and it remains the most exceptional nation in the world today.
To ensure that schools are not unduly influenced by the latest leftist insanity, Trump has signed an executive order that will directly address how schools teach history, entitled “The 1776 Commission.”
Yes, Democrats, 1776. July 4, 1776, to be exact. Which does bring to mind an interesting question: Is there any independence day with Project 1619? Or is the United States just a 401-year-old state of slavery that has somehow managed to become the most powerful nation on the planet not only in terms of economics, but also in terms of military might and personal liberty.
In addition, in very strong contrast to Project 1619, Trump has made a pointed focus on unity and shared identity in the 1776 Commission.
“Critical race theory, the 1619 Project, and the crusade against American history is toxic propaganda — an ideological poison that, if not removed, will dissolve the civic bonds that tie us together,” Trump said. “The only path to national unity is through our shared identity as Americans. That is why it is so urgent that we finally restore patriotic education to our schools.” [Source: The Daily Caller]
Mike Pence also chimed in, noting the dangers of forgetting history, particularly the history that is the most critical to remember to preserve life and liberty for all in the future.
“The Declaration of Independence and the Constitution are the greatest charters of freedom the world has ever known,” Pence said. “Our Founders knew history, but sadly we live in a time when too many are forgetting history today.” [Source: The Daily Caller]
Thus, Trump’s 1776 Commission is infinitely more appealing than the hate-filled revisionist history that the Democrats are eagerly cooking up, and a favorable outcome in 2020 is all the more critical given that the fabric of the entire nation is at stake.
Biden would undoubtedly welcome such an initiative with open arms, coolly dismissing any highly justified criticism as “racist” (the standard response when no other logical response is available).
Then again, Biden and Harris felt more than fine trespassing across a family’s home in California to preen and pose for some photo op, as if that photo is really going to solve Californians’ problems.
Fortunately, this family’s voice was heard … by some. Now you can hear it here as well.
“For the friends of mine that don’t recognize the fireplace in the background, that is what is left of my parents house! What has me really frustrated right now is the fact that these two politicians used my parents loss for a photo opportunity to push their political agenda! Political party wouldn’t have made a difference in this moment,” Patten wrote on Wednesday.
“Decent human beings that have character and class, wouldn’t air someone else’s misfortune on national television!” he added. “Think about this when you go to the polls in a few weeks to vote.” [Source: The Washington Examiner]
Exactly, Biden and Harris. Or is it Harris and Biden? No matter which way those two nuts ultimately align (both alignments are poor), they should probably be rethinking a whole of things. Including their plan to destroy the education system with Project 1619, defunded charter schools, fatter student debt, and greater levels of communist education all around.
While the United States once boasted the best university system in the world, the Democrats are now running that into the ground just like they run their cities into the ground. And running universities into the ground begins with running the K-12 schools into the ground, with Project 1619 representing the most grotesque attempt to hijack the education of the American youth yet.
A vote for Trump isn’t just a vote for liberty; it’s a vote for the future of the American children.
