As you can see in the image above, fake news personality extraordinaire Don Lemon does not seem very happy with what Jacob Blake’s mother, Julia Jackson, had to say. Rather than railing against how terrible Trump is, clearly the effect Lemon was seeking, Jackson instead expressed the utmost respect for Trump while excoriating criminals who have unconscionably exploited Jacob Blake’s death.
“My family and I are very hurt and quite frankly disgusted. And as his mother, please don’t burn up property and cause havoc and tear your own homes down in my son’s name,” Jackson said.
“You shouldn’t do it. People shouldn’t do it anyway, but to use my child or any other mother or father’s child — our tragedy — to react in that manner is just not acceptable. And it’s not helping Jacob. It’s not helping Jacob or any other of the men or women who has suffered in these areas,” she continued. [Source: The Blaze]
Spot on. Jackson exhibited nothing short of complete grace and clarity, and she is the one who has suffered the most from the most recent unfortunate incident between the police and minorities. She is rightfully horrified by her son’s legacy being destroyed by leftist psychopaths, and while she likely has many questions for the police, she certainly is not jumping to conclusions in the way Biden and his sudden mimic, Harris, did near-immediately.
One of the most stunning moments of her delivery, and undoubtedly one of the moments responsible for Lemon’s increasingly irate expression, occurs when she apologizes to President Trump for the damage that has engulfed yet another city after a police shooting.
“For our president, Trump: First I want to say a family member and I don’t know if it was heard or not said something that was not kind. She is hurting and I do apologize for that. Our outburst does not reflect our behavior. And then also, for President Trump: I’m sorry I missed your call because had I not missed your call, maybe the comments that you made would have been different,” Jackson said.
She added, “I’m not mad at you at all. I have the utmost respect for you as the leader of our country. Like I said before and I’m not saying this to him directly: We should always get the details from the right source before we start throwing bricks.” [Source: The Blaze]
Oh, to be on the fly on the wall of more than one solar-powered leftist home or the dashboard of a pompous Prius when this news hit the airwaves. It is likely that these mindless maniacs are already concocting an absurd litany of conspiracy theories regarding Jackson’s sincere apology, just like an MSNBC host accused a high-profile Black supporter of Trump being “paid” for his support.
The full video can be found here, along with many comments from the public bringing attention back to other families’ pleas for the senseless violence to end. In addition, the video is followed by other comments from the families of George Floyd, Michael Brown, and Trayvon Martin.
One cannot help but contrast the response of Jackson with the responses of high profile public individuals, or at least individuals with high numbers of social media followers. While these individuals never even knew Jacob Blake, nor have they appeared to have done anything substantive themselves regarding racial relations, they have shown exactly zero qualms about exploiting Blake’s encounter with the police for their own sick political aims.
Now the NBA has even gotten in on the fun, with several NBA players threatening to boycott the NBA over Jacob Blake. They have already caused the cancellation of a game by refusing to play. Some players may not be the most prescient individuals on the planet, given that NBA and NFL ratings are already declining in light of the nonstop politicization.
Refusing to play or otherwise not honor contracts, the same players will undoubtedly complain bitterly if their over-privileged salaries are rescinded, of course failing to see the irony that it’s awfully interesting how such a “racist” country has multiple Black multimillionaires and billionaires.
One can only hope that others will follow Jackson’s graceful lead, which sets her leagues above the likes of Harris and the rest of the insidious sludge that characterizes the Democrat Party of 2020.
